Special Education Jobs is seeking a Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) to support students in the Boerne, Texas area. This contract position involves working closely with school teams to assess student needs, support behavioral and emotional development, and ensure compliance with special education regulations.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations
- Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations for educational planning
- Participate in ARD meetings and contribute to eligibility determinations
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student success
- Provide consultation on behavioral interventions and classroom strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
Qualifications
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Active Texas LSSP license through the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists
- Experience working in a school setting preferred
- Strong knowledge of IDEA, special education eligibility, and evaluation processes
- Ability to manage multiple evaluations and timelines
